Cedar Posts

The exterior posts have been installed! These were each made from a single piece of cedar and milled with a "V-Notch" on the back to fit against the corners. This method actually adds strength to the structure while looking much better than just adding a decorative trip piece. It is hard to see the size in the pictures but these are timbers almost 8 inches across! These are screwed to the actual corner posts and then dowels are used to cover the hardware.
